wonderful getaway near the station
train station welcome drink thoughtful staff happy hour
the hotel was close to the train station!). they offered a welcome drink and pastries upon arrival, a really nice touch after a long journey. the staff hung our jackets to dry, which i thought was thoughtful. we also really enjoyed the happy hour with finger foods and drinks in the lounge.
it would have been nice to have more accessible controls for the rain shower in our room.

breakfast offered a buffet with refined selections (it wasn't large, but the quality was amazing). fresh squeezed orange juice was always available. they served canapés starting at 6:00 pm each evening.

our corner room was quite spacious with views overlooking the canal on two sides. the bathroom in the room was very large. twin beds were available with several pillow options.

the hotel had a classically decorated interior and a nice garden. i noted the hotel added special decorations related to carnivale . the location is near the train station and piazzale roma for convenient transport.

the front desk staff was very helpful and offered useful recommendations for attractions. they also provided assistance with restaurant reservations and logistics. the staff were always cute, positive, and offering prompt service.

adequate stay with some issues
limited breakfast options confusing hotel navigation
the room felt smaller than expected it lacked sufficient space for luggage storage. breakfast had limited options with dietary restrictions i observed a noticeable lack of variety. the absence of clear signage within the hotel made navigating the premises somewhat confusing. finding the fitness center was particularly challenging i spent considerable time searching.

dated room unfriendly staff
The breakfast had a good selection of items.
I was not thrilled with the room. It seemed somewhat dated. There was no bell boy available to help with luggage, a service I expect from a 4-star hotel. The front desk staff also did not seem particularly friendly.

attentive staff clean room courtyard breakfast
I found the staff very attentive. The room was very clean. I was very happy. I enjoyed breakfast in the courtyard.
The hotel lacked a gym, a service I would have liked.

The accommodation is easily accessible from the train station, a walk of only 10-15 minutes. I found a quiet side street with a canal view! The area provided a peaceful retreat.
